Antica Villa degli Ulivi is located under the small borgo of Pergaccio, a quiet, tranquil and reserved area. Not by chance this zone was chosen as holiday location by famous personalities such as Albano & Romina, Fellini and many writers and film director, to the extent of it gaining the nickname Conca D’oro, Golden Zone.
The date of the construction of the house in A.D. MDCXL or 1640, as the ancient family coat of arms proves. The villa originally belonged to the Minozzi family, land owners of the Cortona area and ancestors of Beatrice and Massimiliano, who today own and run the property.
The love and respect for their family and its history lead the two siblings to cleverly restore the property, maintaining its authentic nature reminiscent of another era, without forfeiting any modern comfort.
From generation to generation Antica Villa degli Ulivi has retained its characteristics as a noble country villa, and within it one can admire original furniture, carefully restored by Massimiliano’s clever hands. Ancient photos and paintings are spread around the rooms.
It is truly a time travel!
